Why: To Bring About More Freedom, Authenticity, Purpose, Clarity and Meaning to Your Life.

How it works:  You and I converse in person, on-line or within a group.  My role is to be present to you while objectively listening for the energy behind your words.  This practice is based on an ancient tradition called spiritual direction, today some call it active or intuitive listening.  I find that I do not need to be with you in person but rather be with you over the phone, via chat or skype. 

Some people, especially those raised with computers, find it helpful to write their thoughts out before saying them.  Others like to meet in person.  Topics you present for a session might include but not limited to: 

Work, relationships, transitions, grief & loss, religion, life purpose, meaning, family, job, school, etc. 

The difference between this kind of work versus coaching or counseling is that there is no agenda, nothing to be “fixed”, “analyzed” or “put in order”.  I only listen to what you present which is usually something that is at the forefront of your life at that moment.  I approach you from your wholeness, not brokenness — in need of fixing.  

The idea is to let the dialogue organically unfold on its own and at its own pace while allowing it plenty of space to go where it needs to go.  I act as a mirror-holder and reflect back to you any insights or connections I intuit between what is happening with you internally versus what is being presented externally.  This gives you a chance to detach and step back so you can experience the connection(s) for yourself. 

Sometimes we will come across blockages that keep you from aligning with your inner source and cause imbalances in your exterior life.  In this case, I will help you explore these areas by gently posing questions that will help you get more clear about what needs some healing and/or releasing. 

Other times, you might just need affirmation and support.  Depending on where we are at by the end of the session, I might suggest action steps that match your style and help you continue on your personal path toward deeper meaning and purpose.

  • One-on-one sessions are approximately 1 hour in length.
  • Groups are 2 hours in length with a min. of 4 and a max. of 6 participants. 

Sessions are usually scheduled 3-4 weeks apart, giving you plenty of time to integrate the session.  Some people want to meet sporadically as things come up while others continue on a regular basis for months even years.  It’s up to you!
